Fri, Jul. 3rd, 2009, 06:14 pm Sorry Deadjournal...
I'm sorry, you useless dripping bucket of emo crap, but it looks like I have something that actually gives me what I want without being such a chore, and what do you know, there's more than 5 people using it. New blog over on Blogspot: http://dennisillustration.blogspot.com/Wed, Jul. 1st, 2009, 12:17 pm
Just updating with some recent work. I got a little tired of the whole Pinup thing, so Im focusing on more commercial styles of Illustration. Wed, Jul. 1st, 2009, 12:17 pm
Just updating with some recent work. I got a little tired of the whole Pinup thing, so Im focusing on more commercial styles of Illustration. Wed, Jun. 17th, 2009, 12:08 pm Ufail!
So, what have I done with my life in the past 2 weeks? I've spent a fair amount of money on printing my portfolio in book form and having it ship to design companies http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/2009-portfolio/7254349 I've done about 2 or 3 commissions http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2400887 http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2382297 , and one of them was for Warcraft Gold, I've made some serious use of Twitter http://twitter.com/devillo and also gotten into using Ustream http://www.ustream.tv/myvideos/1/1665639. I've also recently started making nice with folk on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=620350699, trying to find a way of making the damn site make money and press for me. All that, and I changed my website design again to a nice Black and White vibe. http://dennisillustration.co.uk/ Now, what part of all that can I tell to a Job centre where they wont kick me out and cut me off without a penny, because aside from stuff like peopleperhour and craigslist, there's actually been little to no real job hunting. FAAAAAIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! !!!!! Wed, Jun. 17th, 2009, 11:24 am
Finally tweaked the website to a more stylish black and white vibe. Now currently running around like a headless chicken trying to get work. You can also catch me now on Ustream almost daily working on exclusive artwork. Anyone know of any Illustration work, let me know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us4gcTMhh9k&feature=channel_pageWed, Jun. 3rd, 2009, 11:04 am EPIC FAIL!!!!!! Amber Alert
So, Ive been unemployed for 13 weeks, my £1000 Redundacy has been whittled down to £100 and Im up for a review today where depending on if they are actual human being or vampire Nazis from Pluto, I could get my benefits cut off. So, here's the deal. I always do what I can to support other artists when they have issues, even when my own money is tight. Now I'm praying that Karma works out for me in the same way, despite the fact my own 'fanbase' is much smaller. So first of all, IM AN ARTIST! I make artwork, the idea being for money. But in all honesty pretty much everything in my gallery's has been done for free. I'm going to be very greatful if people actually look at my commission information on my front page and actually make use of it. For the sake of keeping folk where I need them in this journal, Sketches: £4.00/$8.00 - http://devillo.deviantart.com/art/Ta...ketch-58693127Inked: £8.00/$15.00 - http://devillo.deviantart.com/art/Deadpool-and-company-123026111Digital: £15.00/$29.00 - http://devillo.deviantart.com/art/Redburr-121827966Journal/Forum/Account Icon: £5/$10 - http://devillo.deviantart.com/art/Noir-Icon-Commissions-119282792Now, here's the part I REALLY hate. The pan handling. I hate the idea of waving a tin around for donations, especially as I actually prefer to EARN what I get. But if you have a few spare bits of change, my Paypal is at Wormwood_thorn@hotmail.com. Also, I do have a few print collections already available to buy online. My collected portfolio http://www.lulu.com/content/1289346 My short comic Morbido http://www.lulu.com/content/1284058 and my Fanatic obsession prints. All of these are SERIOUSLY cheap priced. So come on. Fri, May. 22nd, 2009, 06:15 pm What? I have a life!

Sat, Mar. 7th, 2009, 02:20 pm New Folio
So Ive been working on cracking Indesign, and the result was a new 8 page Folio featuring the best of my recent work. Its A4 size full colour print, and is the first of a set of 'themed' folio's, each one based on a particular theme with art made just for it rather than stuff that gets posted online first etc. Thats the plan anyway, or should I post all my art for free online? Opinions please. Anyway, pick up 'Fanatic Obsession' here at: http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback_book/fanatic_obsession/6346113And while your at it, why not check out my older larger Book collection at: http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback_book/dennis_a_portfolio/1289346Your feedback is always welcome. So Im back. Lots of things have happened since I last updated. My Halo Mania was replaced by a much bigger mania, World of Warcraft. I feel like Toad from the Wind in the Willows. Anyway, as you will have seen in the Illustration section theres a ton of material based of that crazy world. Its quite a place, enthralling, addictive, but never a chore. Well, levelling a 55lv Warrior specced in Protection is slow and boring, but since Im now a 65lv Death Knight that sweeps through huge crowds and butchers all in his path, I'd have to say its a large and varied game. Anyway, in other news my main job is now defunct and I am redundant. Im now working harder than ever to re-vamp my portfolio in design, not just illustration. To that end I have been checking out the good old YCN, as this is the last year I can submit work. Im currently working on a nice lil project involving Skype, Dorito's and Kleenex. Loads of fun. Im also sorry to say but work ground to a screeching halt on Morbido since Warcraft slapped me down and took my wallet and my time. While the current job situation has meant that Im not as on as I would like, I have found time to help out my guild by setting up their site at http://rangersofthenorth.org.uk Nice group. The ROFLCOPTER project is currently shelved while I focus on getting my new portfolio set up, so I can head over to the new Design recruitment agency Ive tracked down thanks to some kind folks back from Uni. Also spent some time trying to boost my illustration presence with a few adult sites. Tacky? Meh, but good exposure (hah, pun) and some nice friendly folk with plenty of ideas and suggestions. Kinky ones. lol. Well, I will be updating this again in the future, check out my work at http://dennisillustration.co.uk/ and I shall see you real soon. Poop Poop. Ok, so after having to cancel on Friday because of family issues, I returned to the small but frothing at the mouth circle of folks who inhabit Halo 2. Actually there was this one guy who seemed to be playing with his baby in the room, getting the kid to repeat words like noob and rofl. Awesome. After playing the Worst Game Ever on Elongation, I decided it would be wise to try a different gametype, so I plonked myself down the Rumble Pit for some solo slaughter, and I have to admit, not worrying about wrecking your teams scores really helps. A tip to all new players in games like this, dont be afraid to charge about and get as many kills or assists as possible. Your going to get killed anyway, so take as many as you can with you. You wont get anywhere just hiding in the corner with the shotgun or the Battle Rifle, takin potshots and folks who wander by. So, first of all was the battle I had on Beaver Creek, http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Beaver_Creek a map Im slowly getting the hang of. The main things I finally figured were to first get the Battle rifle inside the base, then grab the Shotgun from the lake and switch between the two as I run from base to base, lobbing grenades into groups of other people fighting. A handy tactic. I even surprised myself by getting a few medals, one for Mele killing a guy, and the other for sticking someone with the Plasma. Then we take a trip to Sanctuary, http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Sanctuary a map that has in the past seen me sniped and whipped a few times in games like SWAT and Team Slayer. But here I continued with the lobbing grenades at folks and shooting em while they're back is turned tactic. And it served me fairly well. I only got one melee kill in, and I still died more times than I killed people, but it was still alot of fun. We then suddenly got a nice surprise as the gamemode was changed to Rumble Rockets. Meaning the same map, just now everyone had twin tank killers to play with. I was really psyched, but then the game kept pausing as everyone decided to quit and leave. I really don't understand why folks cant just play through a game rather than all just abandon it if it doesn't suit them. Meh, spoilsports. Still, after that I ended up back at Beaver Creek, and with my new found confidence was able to land 6 medals. What? 6 freaking Medals? Wow. I'm as shocked as you guys are. Double and triple kills, Melee and Assassin (Melee from behind) including my old fave the stick. And It ended up only being 7 kills all together, after being killed at least 12 times. Plus an average lifespan of 12 seconds is a lil... yikes. But yeah, lots of fun. Now things get VERY interesting as another Rumble Rockets gametype starts up, and its in probably my fave of the multiplayer maps, Tombstone! http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Tombstone What can I say about this game except, gg? Lots and lots of fun, running and jumping, blowing the living snot out of the landscape, explosions and rockets wooshing past all over the place. even a Double kill for me. woot. 'Veshy' of the Bungie forums gets a special mention for being a great opponent and scoring some pretty nifty long distance kills. Also DA Nickyrock for throwing his grenade at me just as I gave him a rocket in the face, and taking me down with him. Well played. It seems Beaver creek is a rumble pit fave, because we ended up back there agaaaain, only this time it was with a difference. Everybody was given free Shotguns. Can it be Xmass come early? Much fun of running, fragging and blasting people in the ass with buckshot was had by all. I just dont think much of the SMG when it comes to multiplayer matches, gimme a Battle Rifle or Shotgun anyday. Inside the Blue base was quite a laugh. After bashing one guy who came round the corner on the back of his head, I then shotgunned the guy who was chasing him and finally stuck the first dude who just respawned. Ahh, glorious. Then of course its Beaver Creek agaaaaain, back to the default settings. By this time I figured out you can jump up to the roof of the bases, and proceeded to batter the guy who was camped up there raining grenades and BR fire down on everyone below. Stick's and Double Kill medals also. After deciding to call it a day, I felt it would be ok to play one final game. Wow. I really need to learn when to call it a day. I suddenly found myself on Lockout http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Lockout playing Slayer Pro, with Battle Rifles. For those of you who don't know, not only is Lockout Haunted http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Ghost_of_Lockout , but it is also the biggest sharp shooter den in the game. There is little to zero cover, and every pathway is widely exposed and you no sooner spawn than have every other player in the map draw a bead on you through their sights and riddle your corpse with long distance lethal firepower. However, having my ass handed to me by people who know what they are doing is fine in my book, and I decided that I would at least score 1 kill in this game, which after a Looooong slog I finally did, by running up behind one distracted sniper and wacking him from behind. Woof. The game kinda crapped out briefly though, so the records on the bungie site are a lil off. Still, I got my one kill after being killed a countless number of times. So thats the end of my meandering Halo 2 journal for today. Im working Tuesday afternoon, so catch me on Wednesday where I just may try an objective based game such as bomb run, capture the flag, or maybe some oddball. http://www.bungie.net/Stats/PlayerStatsHalo2.aspx?player=Devillo+DeviLastly, an Arby and the Chief movie!? Awesome. Devote half an hour to this work of a desiccated mind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T79yApVCBgThu, Sep. 11th, 2008, 10:58 pm
Ok, so 2 O'Clock is now Halo 2 hour, and believe me it can feel like an hour for matchmaking to kick in and provide me with a game. My first lil stint of the week took me to some highs and lows. First of all was a VERY laggy match at Beaver Creek, http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Beaver_Creek first time I ever had some serious glitching going on. Somebody was clearly screwing around, because I would head inside Red base and suddenly Im outside watching myself go inside. Freakin weird. Plus I was playing with VERY young sounding kids, but meh, we won, go Red. Then I headed over to the Mean Streets of Turf http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Turf and got my ass handed to me on a platter by some dude called 'Shay is Nasty,' and his Blue Amigo's. Good match actually, we got in the Warthog and drove it up to the downed scarab and camped out with me on the turret, but they still whipped our asses. Lots of fun though. Then we go to one of my most hated locations, the bastardised Cluster Fuck Midship http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Midship . Midship is a Plasma fueled Nightmare, with Grenades flying around like Sperm, and an enemy thats organized, Brutal, and German. Yup, I got my ass handed to me by the damn Germans. Buhhh.... To get the bad taste of Bratwurst out of my mouth I was happy to play a good game on Tombstone http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Tombstone , a Map which Im always happy to play on. The Game between us and the blues went off to a good start when we moved together as a unit, occupying the control room and blasting the Blues as they scuttled across the map like cockroaches. There was one point where I was hunting this guy in the tunnel with a Shotgun, and he picked up one and we both blew each others brains out at the exact time. Ahh, glorious. Plus after sniping them a few times with the Battle Rifle from the control room window, they threw in grenades to flush me out, and sent in their sword guy, who I killed. Ahhh, the joy of combat. Anyway, that was the fun little hour I had today in between T-shirt designs, Website tweaks and Halloween Content. Cant wait till tomorrow. See ya all at 2.00 in the afternoon, GMT. You can also follow my terrible track record as I slowly plumet level by level over on the Bungie site at http://www.bungie.net/Stats/PlayerStatsHalo2.aspx?player=Devillo+DeviWed, Aug. 27th, 2008, 11:43 pm
Thats right folks, head over to http://dennisillustration.co.uk and check out the new design Ive got installed. Opinions and feedback greatly appreciated. Currently back on my old computer, panicking over the temperature. Picked up a small fan and slapped it behind the comp to cool it down, now I'm hunting for a second so it wont keep going up to 60/70C. Wort wort wort. I'm just bored, staring at that big ol screen, and not even remotely interested in posting about any of the amazing deviations or interesting journals. Myep, I'm an asshole. In other news, I'm moving to Unlimited Broadband, upgrading my computer so I MAY be online more in Halo 2, Halo CE and possibly second life. I'm also having an avatar made, but only the Furries are gonna know what thats for. Bow Chicka Bow Wow. I also just spent an entire day removing all the stuff I want getting rid of from my room. I has floor? No wai!!!!!! Its Wednesday again and I have no money for food. Buy my prints. I'm hungry. Also, working on new Halo painting, ODST female Drop troopers wailin on a Grunt. Soooo, either spend $124.94 on a game thats 5 years old and no longer in production, or download it for free online. Hmnnnn, thats a tricky one. Anyway, downloaded demo of Halo CE on a whim, and after all this time it turns out it DOES work on my system. Man I need to read instructions more carefully. Talk about being a pillock. Anyway, got some screens from the demo, and the ODST pic is chugging along ok. The background looks a lil turdy though. Maybe a lil more interesting perspective. Mild Depression? Well, call it more of a down in the dumps. I'm just in one of those... what am I doing, whats the point slumps. I'm trying everything I can to get work out there, get new folks interested, and also make sales, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. Also those Black and White sketches are now £2.00. Come on, you are NOT getting em cheaper anywhere. I have a few issues which need taking care off, and Im beginning to get some SERIOUS concerns. Im even considering putting stuff up on Ebay. Help a guy out. $3.66 Dollars? Come on. Considering deleting this journal on grounds of being a whiny git. ---------------------------------------- ----------- I was seriously cheered up by the lovely comments people gave. Sorry for such an ANgsty journal, it just does ya good to vent every now and then. Heres to ya http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r38WnMZihJsThis is what folks need to tell me to do if I ever act this way again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9ss1c6B6Pc&NR=1Mon, Jul. 28th, 2008, 10:24 am July update
So Yeah, Ive been really pushing myself recently, trying to get something new and different out the door every day or so, trying to build up an audience etc and earn a bit of money with the Commissions as well as my prints. Of course a large amount is Fanart, so theres a few licensing issues which I'm beginning to get concerned over, especially as ALOT of my artwork is Fan based, as all my Anthro stuff is over on Fur Affinity. Im just in one of those 'nothing I do means anything, my work is useless and rubbish' phases. Meh, It'll pass. That or I'll cut my hands off and raise goats in Nebraska. In other news I bought the Game guide for GTA4, despite not owning an XBox or a PS3. I just like to pick up the guides to games I cant afford, its a quirk. But loving the story, as well as the vids on Youtube. If commissions and Prints do well this year, I may treat myself. First of all I need to get my work out there, so time to get cracking! So yeah, My adcast just expired on me. Man alive that went quickly. I started it on Wednesday and it finished on Sunday. I didn't realize that so many folks clicked those things. Still, money well spent I guess. Ive had a mountain of faves to respond to from many different folks on D.A. which was fun and entertaining. Still no new commissions as yet so I clearly need to keep at it in order to make more of an impact with folks. In regards to quality of my work, Ive finally remembered why I enjoyed working at University all those years. Because everything I made was wrong, so I changed it. I did multiple versions of my artwork every day for weeks on end until the idea finally worked out. Seems obvious when you think about it but hey, call me Mr Thickie Mc Thickthick from Thicktown. The Fuck Me T-shirt is finished now, so anyone who's interested in buying one let me know. Theres still a DELUGE of material for you folks to buy over at my store http://dennisillustration.co.uk/shop.html Enjoy. Oh, and bought a pretty snazzy Hellboy book, Odd Jobs. Read it within 2 days though, so thats £10 gone. I guess I could have used a Library or something but nah. I wanted it for myself. I have a SERIOUSLY large amount of stuff in this room. Its like a freaking place where books magazines and art supplies come to die. Ive forgotten what it means to have an empty floor. Maybe I could use Ebay or something to raise a lil extra cash, but meh, I'm All for the Horde! So I'm having these worrying issues with my computer. Basically ol Bessie has developed a nasty habit of shutting down for no reason with no warning. I mean like somebody just pulled the plug. I'm worried about having to contact apple or someone and see if theres anything I can have done to her. Going to cost a bomb though so I guess now I really do need some extra cash. Anyways, anyone with a first gen iMac G5 who knows of this issue, please let me know. In other news, I have a Mad-on for drawing chicks, skulls and snakes right now. I'm sick and in need of help. *grin* So My shifts at work have recently taken a downward curve, and I'm earning about 20% less than what I was before. It could go up again, it could go lower, thats just how it works. So I can either look for another job or try and use the extra time to get as much work done on my portfolio and start making something of my work up here. I am currently very keen to work on commissions for people, and my prices are as competitive and as low as I can go. If theres anyone who does work for money, then your input into how I can communicate that would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, long story short, the calender is back on track and I should have the first batch finished soon. In other news I picked up the pilot and first 6 episodes of Twin Peaks on VHS from a sale. Totally fantastic. Loving every single moment of the show. I'd forgotten how great the characters were, as well as how much Silent Hill ripped it off. lol. The cliffhanger to season 2 of Heroes just aired. Oh wow, cannot wait to the finale next week. Its all kicking off with Sylar holding Molly hostage, Micha's cousin kidnapped, and not to mention Peter vs Hiro. Woof. Oh, I finally pulled my pen outa my ass and got to work on Ajahli's Rebirth/new life pic for Gryphon. Lets just say Im pushing the boat out on this one. Finally picked up a first gen Xbox, 2 controls and with free copies of Halo 1 and 2, Max Payne 2, Escape from Butcher Bay, Burnout 2 and a ton of naff sport games which are going straight to a game store.Gotta admit, I can see why Halo got so many fans, lots of fun. And I dont care about John 117, aka Master chief. Give me the Arbiter and that cute Korean chick. Max Payne is 10 shades of awesome too. Epic distopic noir and psycho head fucking aplenty. The comic style cutscenes, the twisted nightmares, the weird as hell levels, great fun. And of course theres leaping backwards in bullet time with two guns blaring sweeping a room of bad guys. Escape from Butcher Bay isn't that bad either. I haven't got far, but while the controls take a while to get used to, they certainly got the character down perfectly, especially since ol Slaphead Vin Diesel worked so hard on this. Harder than the movie? Maybe. Get yer Shiv on and ram guards heads in the toilets. Always a pleasure. Not bad for just £35. And thats about $69 to you guys. My Gamertag (at the moment) is Devillo Devi, and you can spot me here: http://live.xbox.com/member/Devillo+Devi http://live.xbox.com/en-GB/profile/profile.aspx?pp=0&GamerTag=Devillo+DeviBasically I signed up first on the Xbox site with Devillo Deviant (as Devianti would have been too long) Then when I was on the console setting up the live service, it refused to let me use an already existing account. So now my email on the site opens the Deviant acount, and wont let me edit it while the console uses the Devi account. Oh joy. Still, 2 months free gaming sounds like fun. Anyone with Halo 2 lemme know and PM me or something. I'm just interested in trying out the system. In other news, Crisis Core on the PSP is made of win and awesome. Very handy if like me you never played Final Fantasy 7 and had no clue what Advent Children was about. It took me a while to stop holding down the shoulder button constantly to attack (darn you Silent Hill 0rigins) But seriously fun gameplay. Also finally had some of my sisters Barfday cake. Very nice it was too, they took a photo and printed it directly on the cake. Ahh the wonders of technology. And finally, a message for the entire human race. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgZzCrpqT5EStill trying to figure out how to change my Gamer Tag online to the one I actually use here in game http://www.bungie.net/Stats/PlayerStatsHalo2.aspx?player=Devillo+DeviLong video, but lots of fun to make. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ieSN8VQwvmMOh, and the end to Season 4 of Doctor Who. Wow. End of an era. You can also check out a few new additions to my Illustration gallery from here over at http://dennisillustration.co.uk/illus.htmlWell, I screwed up and posted the video's all out of order, because I'm a retard. But anyway, the following video's are taken from the documentary Davros Connections, describing the history of the character before the finale of Season 4 of the new show. Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDl_0sbOi5UPart 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deYB_I9GcMUPart 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvjVjx9Nq7gPart 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARTwgNXfI80Part 5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3kCmf2jZcMAnd here is the return. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixMDkHwbwwcIn other news, the Halo pic is coming along nicely, and Ive been re-working and getting feedback on a few bits and pieces over on the Imagine FX forums. Hey kids, sorry I havnt been around this week. Basically Ive been on a huge drive over on D.A. to get something posted every day, build up my audience, make some money on Advertising etc, and despite posting stuff daily, I still dont feel fulfilled. Mainly because I check my messages like 3 times a day and no comments mean I go into a morose depressed 'My work is crap and pointless and what am I doing with my life' phase which you think a guy of 24 should have grown out off. But hey, thats life I guess. Anyway, Im an emotionally fragile git, but in other news, Just saw the episode in Season 2 of Heroes when 'Adam' reveals himself to Peter. Holy Shit I was screaming at the TV screen. Woah. Did not see that coming. Im currently coming to the conclusion that me and sequential art do NOT work well together. Pinup stuff I can handle, and I can come up with ideas for storys etc sure, but actually getting the angles, poses and composition to work in a dramatic and visually appealing way to further the story, damn thats hard. Plus I have a Calender and the 'Halloween' Project to work on too, so I think ROFLCOPTER is totally going to be something thats either end of the year or next year. Hey, Im still learning by doing, so Id rather release something thats good, rather than something thats forced, painful and crappy, like last nights kebab. Wow thats a nice metaphor. Anyways, enough griping. Cheer me up already kids, Commission me, comment on my stuff and also slap me around the head until I stop acting like a whiny brat. DA Gallery: http://devillo.deviantart.comFA Gallery: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/devillo/---------------------------------------- ---- I nearly soiled myself while watching this video!!!! Well.... Not really, but my stomache is really ropey at the moment. Damn weather. But wow. Season 4 of Doctor Who is shaping up to be one to remember! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KPqlscQ-LI&feature=PlayList&p=94467CE2AC304A73&index=0Basically http://www.furaffinity.net/user/farewellride/ posted the link to this site in her journal, so I decided to mess around with it myself. Behold my current fave songs: http://devillo.muxtape.com/Enjoy kids! Oh man, I love these video's! Of course instead of working Ive spent Waaaay too long infront of my computer watching them all, so yeah, my bad. But some seriously funny commentery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtNClSNHXoohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFTGLNtQyWohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQbAw1BGLx4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AoPtGpvH4khttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db2dJUAgtW0Oh, and GTA4 Vids. Im actually wondering about buying an Xbox 360 to play this game. Sometime next year of course. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGxg1UeXREIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPUEdb7p9NYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTN03HshvMYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrxjsrE1OgAAlso finally picked up copies of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Chronicles of Riddick. Why the hell did it take me so long to watch these films? Freakin win and awesome, and tons of camp cheese for Sky Captain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHva0-ckVMwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3w5eJXbVGIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pChGZtAwY4And Lastly, Zombie Ghosts Leave This Place! Holy crap, my insides are aching with laughter. Or is that the hunger cramp? You tell me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHxyZaZlaOsTue, May. 20th, 2008, 12:30 pm
Wed, May. 14th, 2008, 10:34 pm Commissions, Prints and Money
Ive spent the better half of a month faffing around trying to sort out this ridiculous Paypal system so I can start charging for Commissions, as well as getting the money from the prints I have already made so far. The Calender project is moving along well. Decided to re-draw everything from scratch. Heres how things are looking at the moment. First of all I hunted down a fair amount of reference shots, nudes etc which proved very helpful. At the moment I have sketched up to 6. This was created using a Cafepress template, but the final calender will be created using Deviant Art. The idea is to include the various star signs that feature in that particular month etc The final version may be entirely coloured digitally rather than the original paint-overs with Watercolour. We shall see how it go's.
